Workshops
Rock Light Photo leads several multi-day photo workshops annually, mostly in U.S. national parks, with an in-depth exploration of each workshop location, on-site instruction, post-processing class sessions, and a group image review. 2026 workshops locations include Death Valley and Glacier Natl. Tours
Rock Light Photo offers customizable half-day, full day, or multi-day tours for small groups in Moab, UT and Estes Park, CO plus specialized night tours with instruction on capturing the Milky Way. We are a fully licensed and insured tour operator in Arches, Canyonlands, and Rocky Mountain National Parks.
Moab, Arches, and Canyonlands (Spring and Fall)
With two national parks within 45 minutes, and many other nearby world class sites including Dead Horse Point, Moab is a red rock paradise. Rock Light Photo guides offer hands-on instruction on how to read and shoot the fantastic Southwest light to make your red rock images pop, and get the most of your Moab photo tour experience. We specialize in helping photographers capture the Milky Way in one of several internationally recognized dark sky parks.
Rocky Mountain National Park (June-September)
RMNP tour options include beautiful mountain lakes and waterfalls, as well as the 12,000′ high Trail Ridge Road. Take a photo hike to Dream and Emerald Lakes, Gem Lake, or the waterfalls of the Wild Basin. Other tours include world-famous fall foliage in September, and sunset and night tours on Trail Ridge Road.
